General impression:
Colin Firth was nice and great – let’s put that aside, and talk about the rest of the movie. It is a tasteful story of gay love, with a beautiful artistic twist. It is evidently made by an aesthete, and has its own poetry – not necessarily my favorite kind, but still good poetry.
Highlights:
Colin Firth. The exquisite visuals.
Downside:
It is as pretty and dead as the mourned lover.
Would I see it again? – I liked it when I saw it, but I wouldn’t have patience for a second time.
My Rating (1 to 10): 8
Recommended: Yes, if you don’t mind the lack of action in a movie.
Suggestion:
Stay stylish! 🙂
