General impression:
Very good movie! It was a pleasant surprise after Darren Aronofsky’s “Requiem for a Dream”. I was delighted by this different way of making a film about drugs and drug addicts, by the way the story reels without artified drama. It is an honest movie that doesn’t stretch too much in any direction, stays balanced, and yet keeps its artistic quality.
Highlights:
It is very funny at times, profound some other times, and also sad. Expressive characters portrayed by suitable actors, and a good script.
Downside:
I can’t think of anything in particular; I liked it from beginning to end.
Would I see it again? – Yes
My Rating (1 to 10): 9

Suggestion:
You should read the book (“Trainspotting” by Irvine Welsh) too. I will 🙂
