General impression:
It was a decent comedy… until the twist. Afterwards, it became a smart parable with a strong moral that I won’t reveal. I laughed, I cried, I enjoyed it.

Highlights:
The moral and the acting 馃檪

Downside:
Umm… nothing important to hurt the movie as a whole.

Would I see it again? – Yes, someday

Suggestion:
Makes a great Sunday afternoon movie.

General impression:
Warmth, well dosed quirkiness, complex characters stripped to the core of who they are. The movie shows what results when ingenuousness and folly combine.

Highlights:
It’s diverse, colorful, romantic, has a point, good acting and some other good things.

Downside:
May seem a tad boring, maybe not lively enough.

Would I see it again? – Yes

My Rating (1 to 10): 7.5

Recommended: Yes

Suggestion:
Watch it in the afternoon, in a light-flooded room, eating oranges instead of popcorn. Ol茅!

General impression:
Down-to-earth, easy, breezy – in a smart and warm way. “Juno” is about many things that may happen in life, presented in such a way that there are no villains and no blames. It’s a realistically positive story that gives the characters freedom to be themselves, make mistakes, and assume the consequences, eventually finding solutions.

Highlights:
It feels genuine, with likable characters, and a sprinkle of color. Witty and fresh.

Downside:
It’s a comedy about common issues of life, therefore not spectacular or artistic.

Would I see it again? – Yeah, but not very soon.

My Rating (1 to 10): 7.5

Recommended: Yes

Suggestion:
If you want a sweet movie that’s not dumb or corny, watch “Juno”.
