General impression:
This movie has a vibe similar to that of “The Book of Eli” (-) and “28 Days Later” (+), gravitating around the same issue of survival. Sometimes it’s creepy. Real creepy. But the kid, Kodi Smit-McPhee, makes the movie almost a must-see. His performance is remarkable, and his character… heartbreakingly beautiful. I only hope the world never gets that way.

Famine, cannibalism, greyness, nothing to live for… Yes, it’s depressing.
Would I see it again? – It made its point the first time; I’m not sure I’d like to see it again.
