General impression:
Boastfully, I have to say that I would have passed this exam. From the moment they turned the pages, I just waited to see what happens until the ending confirms I’m right. I was very curious if it was going to be entertaining enough, since it’s a movie about a bunch of people who have to stay in a room. Some filmmakers shoot in various location around the globe for 90 minutes of final production, and this one involves just one room – intriguing. For its own sake, it manages to keep your attention most of the time, and has some interesting twists. However, this movie was made to make some points, not to entertain – or at least that’s the impression it gave me. It also reminded me of some people who are unable to see things for what they are, and they would do all silly things on all the wrong paths, just to have something to grasp on.
Highlights:
It’s smart and somewhat philosophical.
Downside:
It may falsely lead you to think it’s pointless.
Would I see it again? – One day, someday, not soon, maybe 🙂
My Rating (1 to 10): 8
Recommended: Yes
Suggestion:
Before watching this movie, prepare yourself for feeling bored. You may not be bored eventually, but, just in case, take the possibility into account 🙂
