General impression:
This is one of those movies based on such a mesmerizing story, that everything else simply fades into lesser importance. And this story is true. Two women, mother and daughter, unequipped for real life, trapped in memories, buried in dirt, waste away under the ruins of their once glamorous life. Add to all that the fact that they were relatives of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, and you have a captivating story about inadaptation, vanity gone terribly wrong, and helplessness.
Highlights:
Drew Barrymore’s empathetic performance!
Downside:
At times, the movie reminds you that it was made for television.
Would I see it again? – Not very soon, but I would like to see it again.
